somwhow i managed to get 4 signs from birmingham to arizona. i almost had to buy them their own plane ticket. i threatened every flight attendant that if the signs got messed up there would be trouble.

BIG TROUBLE. thankfully, they made it safe and sound.

"the comeback" -sky over bryant denny stadium turns perfectly "auburn" as game comes to an end.

que music for rammer jammer: "we just beat the hell out of you...." never gets old.

 each time i venture to the "depths of hell" (aka t-town) i swear i'll never go back. but i always do.

we look rough after the stress of iron bowl 2010. bammers exit the stadium in record time.

 we, on the other hand, stayed until they forced us out. thanks to alex, we got to go on the field post game and get a pick with the espn men. amazing!

tv announcers told a story during a game about mccalebb's friends betting him that he couldn't catch a squirrel when walking to class one day. he showed them and everybody last season.

true blue- aka auburn vs. clemson

of course i went a bit overboard with signs since espn gameday would be in auburn for the clemson game.

even more so when both, Rick and Bubba and Kinnucan's, announced that they would give cash money to any idiots that had signs reading their names- of course you HAD to make it on espn gameday. naturally, i was all over it. i spent far too much time glittering that week. really, it was absurd. but i thought it would be worth it when i cam home with the cash prizes. i had enough signs for about 10 people and forced gathered those willing to hold a sign. we arrived at the espn stage at 7:15am. we were ready.

apparently, espn decided that they wouldn't allow you to "promote" businesses with signs anymore so this is where it got ugly. an espn guy came over immediately, took my rick and bubba sign, and broke it over his knee. WHAT?!?! i almost lost it. actually, i did lose it. i was livid. clearly he had no clue how long i spent on my signs. ruuuude! after attempting to confiscate about 3 more signs to no avail....we decided to boycott gameday all together and headed back to the tg. we proudly displayed all signs there.

such a disappointment as the signs were ausome.

creative kinnucan's sign. emailed the sign pic to them and got a $75 giftcard to their store. score.

rick and bubba sign. luckily i took a picture of this one before the big day as it was broken and deposited in a dumpster near the stadium. i actually was dumb enough to look in two separate dumpsters to see if it was "near the top". no luck and i admit, that was really unnecessary. but i couldn't drop it. i wrote to the r & b show and sent in the picture. they read my email on air and showed the picture of the sign on their website!! no cash prize but at least i felt as though my efforts were recognized. yeah!
